Teen Health & Wellness

Teen years are some of our most stressful times in life. Not only are you advancing in age and grade levels but your whole being seems to be changing.
And it is! Everything is changing. The adolescent brain continues to grow new connections and rids itself of unnecessary connections. The body seems to stretch and pull too many ways at once. Voices change, breast suddenly appear, and all kinds of weird feelings compete for your attention.
Puberty is rough and confusing. School life can sometimes be pure hell. Home life, well, it can be hard to accept how you feel about it, as it feels like it is always changing too. And you may wonder, do parents even try understanding their own teen?
The teen years can feel lonely but it is important to know you are not alone. You can get help with answering difficult questions and this info can be passed along to you without anyone, like parents, knowing. You are not alone in feeling dazed and confused. Many of your peers are feeling the same way.
May the force be in your favor, always!
