Sarah Carr
Position: Trustee

Sarah Carr is an educator and word nerd who has lived in Mancos since 2017, and teaches writing, literature, and outdoor education. The public library was her haven and portal to the wider world as a youth, and she loves connecting students with the library to make their own discoveries of new voices and new worlds. She believes libraries are some of our most vital public spaces and community treasures. When she’s not in the classroom or lost in the desert, the mountains, or a good book, she can be found playing bikes, writing poetry, making art, or tinkering with old broken things.
